Essendon Centre

Our reputation precedes us

Our centre and kindergarten is located at 50 Cooper Street, Essendon. The service is purpose designed over three levels and is situated on a generous allotment of land with four playgrounds, which includes a herb garden, undercover sandpits and climbing equipment. The service caters for 93 children and opened in January 2009.

There are 5 purpose built rooms, a commercial grade kitchen and one of the playgrounds is completely undercover and serves as a multipurpose area for art, sport, drama and science.

We have a basement carpark via Cooper Street and parent parking located at the front of the building. Public transport is a short walk from the service.

Community Children – Essendon has received the highest rating, that being ‘exceeding’ by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Rating and Assessments are undertaken to ensure we are meeting with Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). All our services strive for excellence.

Community Children – Essendon is an extremely popular service within the Moonee Valley municipality and you will be hard pressed to find a family who is not trying to get into this service with the area. We also have many families from other surrounding suburbs who have heard about our wonderful reputation and want their children to experience the same as what their friends have had with their own children.
